On October 1, German-listed gaming group ZEAL and content aggregation platform Games Valley officially announced a strategic partnership. On the surface, it looks like an ordinary event: Games Valley is bringing a batch of studios' electronic games into ZEAL's gaming brands LOTTO24 and Tipp24, with familiar names on the list such as Wazdan, NetEnt, Red Tiger, and Nolimit City — all established studios.
But both parties made it quite clear: this is not a one-off deal. When signing, they already had phase two in mind — in the future, Games Valley will reverse the flow, distributing ZEAL's own games to other operators on the platform.
In the short term, what ZEAL gets is a fuller shelf: one aggregation platform connects to dozens of studios, and the game count is built up first. Games Valley uses a self-service backend, where operators can list and delist games themselves, without having to negotiate with studios one by one — saving the effort of coordination.
In the long term, ZEAL develops games through its self-developed brand ZEAL Instant Games, and to sell this batch of products externally, Games Valley is a ready-made distribution pipeline. Games Valley's CEO Ariel Reem put it directly: this is their first step into the German market. ZEAL's Vice President of Games, York Scheunemann, also positioned the partnership as a brick in long-term growth — today filling B2C shelves, tomorrow opening B2B doors.
For teams building platform solutions, this news is worth remembering: when choosing a content aggregation partner for a white-label platform solution, don't just ask how many games are in the library — also ask, "Can my self-developed content be sold through your pipeline?"
Aggregation platforms are growing from simple supply channels into two-way pipelines. Today they help operators fill their game libraries; tomorrow they help them sell self-developed games to others. Whoever understands this layer first will avoid a pitfall when choosing a platform solution — and adding this item to the evaluation checklist won't hurt.
