Mobile-First Content Becomes a Hard Metric for Platform Solution Content Libraries

On October 7, game studio Gamzix partnered with modular B2B platform Kanggiten, making its games available to operators on the platform through the content library. Gamzix only started making online games in 2020, so it is not a veteran, but it established itself with a gameplay system called Hold the Spin.

This gameplay system is not complicated: winning symbols are first locked on the reels, then the surrounding reels spin again for several rounds. Each additional locked symbol raises the payout by another notch. Players recognize this "lock and spin" pattern, and there is also a Buy Bonus option for those who do not want to wait and want to jump straight into the bonus round. The official announcement did not mention commercial terms, and it is simply a standard content supply deal.

These games entered Kanggiten's content library: more than 20,000 games, over 200 studios, running more than 50 brands, covering Europe, Latin America, the CIS, Africa, and Asia, processing more than 7 million transactions a month, with 99.9% uptime. Kanggiten itself transitioned from more than ten years of proprietary operations, so its scale is not small.

Both sides are saying the same thing: cooperation does not end when the games go live; it begins when they go live. Gamzix's Deputy Director of Account Management, Danchuk, put it even more plainly: continuously adding new games to the ecosystem and extending the cooperation period are what allow content to grow together with operators. This is a different approach from signing a one-off licensing deal and being done.

For teams building platform solutions, there are two points worth noting in this news. First, mobile-first is becoming a hard metric for content libraries: Gamzix's games are designed for mobile first, and players spend a lot of time playing on mobile, so this cannot be ignored. Second, when choosing a white-label platform solution, do not just look at how many games are in the library. Ask: how long does it take for new games to enter the library, and can supply continue after launch?

When choosing a platform solution, content aggregation and continuous new releases are two sides of the same thing. A library with 20,000 games that never update and one with 10,000 games that get new titles every month are completely different in scale for operations.
